Allegria means joy in Italian. Let yourself be carried away by the rhythm! Enter the bohemian atmosphere of restaurants that made history, such as Harry’s Bar in Venice, the place where writers, painters and aristocrats met in the 1950s. In our menu you will discover the original recipes of favorite dishes of some of the world’s greatest artists: Gioachino Rossini, Katherine Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Peggy Guggenheim, Orson Welles, Joe diMaggio, Truman Capote and Ernest Hemingway.
Allegria Restaurant serves A la Carte international cuisine. It is located on the first floor of the Alma Hotel and has a capacity of 130 seats.
Try the Irish Beef Medallion with Foie Gras, Seasonal Truffles and Madeira Sauce, prepared exactly as it was created in Paris by Master Chef Auguste Escoffier for composer Gioachino Rossini. In the same musical resonance and artistic note, the famous Pasta of Catania named after Vincenzo Bellini’s opera awaits you, or the Sea Bass with Crazy Water, a dish prepared by Toto, the famous Neapolitan actor.
And, Il Gran Finale, a classic dish whose recipe dates back to the 1950s and was created by Giuseppe Cipriani at Harry’s Bar in Venice: Irish Beef Tenderloin with Classic Sauce and Black Truffles.
